Copper Kid Solo

Copper Kid Solo comes from  Kingston, Jamaica.  Once he started performing music, he became known for rocking the crowd time after time, week after week, and month after month.  It was not long before Copper Kid was one of the most popular artists in Seaview Gardens.

After Copper Kid joined the group INNOCENT KRU, they were discovered by Sly and Robby (Taxi Twin) who produced there first single IMPOSSIBLE TRAIN. The was a big hit that took the world by storm, and was then made into a music video that was chosen to be the first video premiered on B.E.T.

Copper Kid and his group have performed at all the top notch festivals and events in Jamaica including Sting, Reggae Sunfest, and YTeen Splash.  The INNOCENT KRU went on tour in the US, and recorded their debut album which was released by V.P. records.  All the tracks where written by the KRU, and produced by Sly and Robby on the Taxi label.

Now, Copper Kid is working on his solo project.  He is just about to debut his single, “My Heart Cry”, and he is also releasing a full album on Solo Step Records very soon..  Sign up to the newsletter to be notified about the latest news, events, and release dates.

After all this time, the website is finally being designed by DJ Story.  He is a web designer in Asheville who I found on google.  He’s also the one responsible for the graphics on my new single, “My Heart Cry”, and the logo for my Label, “Solo Step Records.”  He also makes beats, and we may very well create something musically together soon.
